We ended up partying for Halloween 4 days straight around here. There were just too many fun opportunities that we couldn't pass up. First, on Thursday, Ethan had his Halloween party and parade at preschool. After an hour and a half of threatening (I mean, "encouraging") Ethan, he finally agreed to put on his costume for the last 10 minutes of the day. I think the idea of not getting any candy during the parade was the prime motivating factor.
On Friday night, we took the kids to Mark's school for the Harvest Festival and dance. Both kids had a great time trick or treating at the classrooms. On Saturday, we headed to our friends' house for a Fall Party. Sadly, pictures didn't happen that night. On actual Halloween, our church held a huge Trunk Or Treat for the kids in our neighborhood. Several thousand kids showed up and it was an awesome outreach. By 6:30, our kids were wiped and didn't even seem to mind that we didn't trick or treat in our neighborhood. Instead, we all snuggled in our bed and watched "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". What a fun weekend!
