On Sept. 1, we celebrated Ethan's fifth birthday. Five
seems crazy-old
to me. Four still felt little...but five? That just feels huge. This
year GG came into town to celebrate, which was a huge treat. We had a
simple party with his best buddies which included Happy Meals at
McDonalds and then a trip to Jumpin Jordy's (Sadly, all of those
pictures were on our iPad, which has since been run over by a car. Oh
well!) On his actual birthday day, we took Ethan and Brooklyn down to
the Focus on the Family Children's Zone down in Colorado Springs. Later
that night, Mark took Ethan to Boondocks for miniature golf and laser
tag. All in all, it was a busy weekend but loads of fun for the 5
year-old.
It wouldn't be a great day without Kylie!
