Visitors!

We have been so blessed to have a continuous stream of visitors throughout the past three weeks. Grandma Gail and Grandpa Ed (AKA Pa and Gigi) came from San Diego to visit, baby-sit, and do numerous projects around the house for two weeks. They put up a fence, hung curtains, fixed a door, made food, did tons of laundry, got groceries, entertained Ethan for hours, bought toys, books and clothes for the kids...too bad we couldn't convince them to move in permanently!

The kids love "Pa" and "Gigi"

There was lots of laughter

And lots of hugs

Grandma Bonnie then came to visit from Portland and spoiled us with dinner, tons of toys and clothes, and lots of love and attention. Ethan especially loved shooting hoops and playing catch with his Grandma!

Making silly faces

Three generations of Mitchells

Grandma and her first granddaughter!

Then, our dear friends from Flagstaff came to visit for three days. The girls (Sarah, Bekah, Kristen and Kaci) were part of our church's high school group when we were leaders. Three of them are college gals now and it was so wonderful to hear what God is doing in all of their lives.

They also blessed Ethan with more attention than he knew what to do with. They have known him since he was just one day old and he took to them immediately! He was a total ham and has been in detox for the past two days! They also made us another incredible scrapbook for Brooklyn (they have already made us a beautiful album for Ethan before he was born). All I have to do is take pictures and paste them on the page. Am I spoiled or what? It took them over 5 months to create this piece of art. We are very undeserving of such an amazing gift!

Ethan got his first paddle boat ride
with three beautiful ladies.
Is he a lucky guy or what?

Brooklyn got lots of cuddle time

But got drenched instead!

We did manage to pry our children from our company enough to take a few pictures as a family over the past few weeks. And of course, I had to take my daily dose of Brooklyn pictures. So here are a few more that I just can't help include on our blog.

Family Photo Attempt #6

Girl clothes are too much fun

Smile or gas?

All this company can really tire a girl out!

What great pictures! I love the last one of Brooklyn sleeping - nothing like a sleeping newborn.
