2010 was the summer...

When new friendships were forged...

Old ones were rediscovered...

And when Dog became Man's Best Friend...

When throwing rocks never became old...

And beauty continually blossomed...

When inner divas were discovered...

And photos for blackmail were acquired...

When new freedoms were found...

And risks were taken...

When the mohawk returned...

And unchartered waters were explored...

When forts became movie theaters...

And loving your sister was cool (even in public)...

When digging in the dirt providing hours of fun...

Even in your Sunday Best...

When visitors blessed our home...

When Boy Band practice began...

When kiddie pools became oceans...

When those tricky fountains...

Produced many giggles and tears...

When longstanding fears were finally overcome...

When looking cute was effortless...

And you never knew what surprises

each morning would bring...

When the backyard became the perfect

place for a slumber party...

And for snuggling...

And holding your babies as tight as you can...

When toil turned ugliness...

Into something wonderful...

When "hike" took on new meaning

And adventures were embarked upon...

And laughter was contagious...

We will always remember "when".
