The End of Summer

Life has been full the past few days. A good kind of full, though. Like when you eat too much at Thanksgiving and even though you're stuffed and tired and just want to lay around...you have no regrets and you're already looking forward to doing it again.

Our summer ended quite abruptly here in Colorado. One day it was in the nineties and we were wearing sunblock, then overnight fall decided to arrive with great enthusiasm. On one of the last days I took these pictures of Ethan and Mark doing "manly" things in the backyard. Yes, our life here is often quite simple. I like simple, though.
