After Ethan's party, my niece BAILEY turned 9 and she decided to use her birthday money to come visit us in October (which we can't wait for!) . Then we had Ethan's actual birthday, which was quite low-key since Daddy had to work. First, we enjoyed special pancakes with chocolate chips and sprinkles. Next, we headed to the Zoo with his best friend Kylie. After a long day, we headed home for naps and later went to church. The following Saturday, we headed out to a nearby lake and went out on the paddle boats (which was something Ethan has been asking to do for a few weeks now). Finally...the birthdays can be laid to rest. Or at least until next year!
