Brooklyn Turns 3!

For Brooklyn's third birthday, we decided to have a small party with her 5 little buddies and their siblings (which added up to 15 kids in all, including babies. Crazy!) She wanted to have a Dora the Explorer party and it turned out really cute. We had it at a park close to our house, so I didn't have to clean. We bought most of the food and the cake (which always stresses me out.) And we kept the activities to a minimum, since there was a playground. We just had a Dora-type exploration and water balloons. I've decided that these days, keeping it simple seems to work best. It also helps me to be a happier, more relaxed hostess as well!

Got this from a bakery

(I was too scared to attempt Dora,
which is way too complicated for me!)

Everyone getting ready for their Exploration
(They got maps, binoculars, and
other provisions for the journey)

Apparently this was the boys side of the table

And the girls side

She loved her presents!

On her actual birthday,
we surprised her with a princess bike

We had tee-ball, so she dressed all pretty

Later, we went to Boondocks (since it was free)

Brooks enjoyed shooting things (hmm)

Gigi bought her another cake
(Can we say, spoiled?)

We love you, Birthday Girl!
