So while Mark was enjoying total freedom in Dallas (complete with eating out every meal, riding a mechanical bull, and hanging out with almost all of our friends), my mom and I spent Spring Break being moms. We took the kids to the dentist, filed our taxes, registered the car. How is this fair, might one ask?
My mom is such a sport...
Who voluntarily goes to the
dentist with 3 young children?
Awaiting the dreaded exam
We did get out one day and spend a lovely day the zoo with my friend Jenny and her two girls.
Thanks Mom, for helping me survive
The week concluded with the first of our
churches back-to-back Egg Hunt Extravaganzas. Seriously, our church
knows how to throw a party. I believe there were 2000 people at our Main
Campus hunt and about 600 at our church plant's hunt. It was truly
amazing!
Ethan was bound and determined to fill that basket! He got into a racing stance and everything. Cracked me up!
Brooklyn decided this was too easy and ran with the big kids the following week.
My sweet little girl
Who also happens to be fearless
Jackson spent the day like this
Again, my mom is always the champion
Love these two
Of course, Brooklyn would
not humor me with a smile
not humor me with a smile
Aside from missing a son, this would
have been a decent family picture. Oh well.
