Christmas 2013

Christmas was very low-key this year...the way it sort of has to be with a newborn. The kids were completely excited, though, and they loved their presents. After a fun morning and naps, we headed over to our friends' home for dinner and to celebrate with our family-away-from-family. It is tradition and we all love it. We are so blessed to have found such special friends in Denver!

5:45 a.m. -At the top of the stairs, ready for the fun to begin

Brooklyn telling daddy what to do
(Nothing really changes on a holiday!)

Searching under the tree for her presents

My one picture of Gavin on his first Christmas.
Mom truly failed on this one...look at that spit-up on his face!

Posing in their costumes they got for Christmas

All the kids ready to hear Miss Meagan tell the Christmas story

Every year Meagan tries so hard to make this a special time,
and the kids basically wreck it by being completely insane.
Maybe next year everyone will behave?
