Easter Fun!

Our family is all about Easter. On Saturday, our church held its largest outreach event of the year...a crazy-huge Egg Hunt Extravaganza behind the school where our church meets. It is our third time holding the event and it just keeps getting bigger and better each year. We think there were about 3000 people at the hunt and everything went perfectly. The next day at church, we had the largest attendance to date (which really is the whole point of the egg hunt). I had 21 kindergarteners in my class alone! We had a fun morning of special games, crafts, and of course, the Easter story! Mark had 6 kids decide to follow Jesus for the first time...it was awesome!

After we got home from church, we took some naps and then headed over to home of dear friends, the Beilmans. They are amazing hosts and always welcome everyone who doesn't have family in town to celebrate holidays with them. This is our third Easter at their home and we've joined them for countless other holidays and celebrations. Our kids enjoyed dying Easter eggs and playing with their friends. We feel so blessed that God put such special people in our lives!
