After a fairly quick and mostly painless delivery (thank you, Jesus, for epidurals!), Gavin Campbell entered the world weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. When he arrived, he didn't make a peep. I started freaking out...thinking that maybe he wasn't breathing. Aren't babies supposed to let out a cry? Nope, apparently not this one. The nurse assured me that he was just fine, pink as can be and just looking around at the world for the first time. It really was indicative of his easy-going, quiet nature. He is the most content little munchkin yet!
